The Music Director

Vincent Koh was born in Kyoto, Japan by Korean parents. He graduated from the University of Hokkaido School of Medicine, Sapporo, Japan.
He studied violin with Kazuhiko Kitamoto, Yuhji Tohgi, Ryutaro Iwabuchi and Hideyuki Nimura in Japan where he participated in performances of various chamber music ensembles, as well as being a member in the conservatory and professional orchestras. He continued his studies in the US with Rachmael Weinstock, Kevin Lawrence and Margaret Pardee.
At the Aspen Music School, he assisted Dorothy DeLay as a translator for her classes. Ever the curious and willing learner, Vincent spent many hours observing the teachings of the great Ivan Galamian at the Meadowmount School.
Vincent is the founder of the Lake George Chamber Orchestra, where he served as concertmaster before becoming the conductor of the orchestra. He studied conducting with Eduardo Navega, Maurice Kaplow and Kenneth Kiesler.
