Individual Giving

Dear Friends,

The World Civic Orchestra is a gathering of musicians, both professional and high-caliber enthusiasts, from around the world who have come together to celebrate the world in its differences and similarities through the platform of music.

We are very excited to continue in this new journey following our very successful inaugural concert, which was held on June 20, 2010 at Carnegie Hall.

We continue to move ahead at full speed, preparing for our next concert on September 25, 2011 at Alice Tully in New York City!

The World Civic Orchestra depends on the support of its friends – individuals like you – to bring audiences superb performances to concert halls around the world. Most people do not realize that ticket income and orchestra membership fees represent only a fraction of our total revenues for the year. The concerts you will enjoy are made possible by contributions from individuals and institutions that value great classical music. Your contribution will enable us to offer lower orchestra membership fees, scholarship funds for students, and financial assistance to those in need who cannot afford to participate otherwise.

Please support the World Civic Orchestra in our “Gift of Melody” campaign and our unique mission designed to bring great sound and artistry to the world.

Sincerely,

The World Civic Orchestra
